It was a hot night in Houston and Toronto went down in an ugly 3-1 beating. I don’t even know where to begin so I’ll just break it down in point form:

THE GOOD

  • Marvell Wynne had good hustle, sometimes looked like the only player out there
  • The American commentators recognizing the job the CSA is doing

THE BAD

  • Everyone standing around. I know its hot, but c’mon
  • DeRo’s first goal was SO offside
  • Dichio not touching the ball in midfield for more than 0.1 seconds at a time
  • Smith not being able to hit the side of a barn

THE UGLY

  • Cunningham not playing through any tackle and putting on a big dive fest
  • Brennan’s brain farts
  • Everyone standing around

I miss Guevara.

Edit - MLS finally put their replays up and it looks like I was wrong about DeRo’s goal being offside.  As you can see the player at the bottom (Brennan) did not step back for the trap:
