TFC travelled to New Jersey to face City Adjacent Energy Drink.  All jokes aside the Reds showed up with only mathematical hope to play for and really gave it to the Red Bulls putting up three goals on the road.  A brutal Gabriel Cichero turnover and some clinical counter attacking gave Toronto a well deserved 3-1 result.  Chad Barret away two of the easiest goals I’ve seen (but at least they didn’t go sky) while Ibby Ibrahim place a header near post to give the extra insurance in the 86th.

John Carver really seems to have whipped the boys into shape just as the season hangs by a thread.   Distribution is still dreadful, but we’re finally seeing the follow up and we as fans have been demading.  Is it just a fluke, or can we run with this form to the end of the season?  It’s still a long shot but just about every result in MLS these past two weeks have been in our favour.  Of all competing teams for the final play off spots, none picked up points last week while none this week have managed a win.

South of the boarder Jeff Cuntingham seems to have revitalized his carreer.  Fuck him, still.
