Toronto FC have acquired Carlos Ruiz from the Los Angeles Galaxy.  To make room for Ruiz, TFC have dropped French international midfielder Laurent Robert.  Details have yet to emerge on the cost of the acquisition, but there is no doubt that the striker who turns 29 next month has the ability to make an immediate impact on TFC struggling front line.
