After going down 1-0 in the first half, Toronto FC battled back for the lead off of two contributions from Marvell Wynne. Danny Dichio flicked a Wynne throw-in on to the foot of Marco Velez. TFC’s second goal came straight from the foot of Wynne after a well placed through pass from Chad Barrett.

Things were looking up until the 90th minute when Julius James came on to provide extra support on the back line. James’ first touch unfortunately was all over Adrian Serioux inside the penalty area.
