Week in Review
What a week!! It’s definitely been a busy one.
- We’ve seen the McBride saga come to a close with TFC being the recipient of a 1st round draft pick, allocation money and one Chad Barrett (I’ve already eaten my words with my Lets all laugh at Chicago post). All in all I’d say its a good deal though. Barrett may miss the broad side of a barn from time to time but he’s still got more goals than most of TFC (tied with Dichio with 5)
- Tebily is gone, long live Tebily. So much for wanting him back
- The MLS are 5-0 against international competition. Whoop dee woo! Although I should give props to DeRo for scoring the game winner. Him and Jimmy B make a good combo *fingers crossed*
- Edu and Wynne are gone for the time being. Best of luck to them at the Olympics, I won’t be upset with a quick USA exit though.
- According to the BBC League One main page Paul Dickov has turned down Leicester and is back in Canada for talks. Unless then chicago
- And finally it looks like MLS has lost a great talent to Europe, again. Kenny Cooper has been picked up by Cardiff City for a reported $4 million transfer fee. It’s truly a shame that MLS cannot and will not compete on an international basis until (hopefully) the next CBA
