TFC on a roll
Ahhhhhhh.. its almost week 5 already! I really need to remember to keep this thing up.
After adding a new senior international each week for the last three weeks we finally have the midfield we only dared to dream about in the pre-season. Â Needless to say I couldn’t imagine a single person having anything bad to say about these new developments unless of course, you’re on the opposition.
So far we’ve seen some impressive performances on the wings with the pairings of Ricketts and Wynne on the right and Robert and Brennan on the left. I’d like to see more balls up the middle to Guevara.
I can see how the back line is used to going out to the wings since we’ve never had a legitimate threat up the middle until now, but the time is now diversify. Real Salt Lake couldn’t handle a two pronged attacked, if you add a third then our boys are definitely going to create chances on the the stronger teams as well.
KC (3-1-1) are up on saturday. They’ll be riding a wave of confidence after a 1-0 upset in Chicago so we better bring the noise!
